EVOLVE Software Suite Workshop

Course Overview:

This course provides foundational and advanced training in the SmartProfile, Design, and SPC modules, with a focus on real-world application and analysis. Participants will learn how to interpret and question analytical data from design, manufacturing, and metrology perspectives, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, optimize tolerance strategies, and reduce measurement uncertainty.

Course Content:

• Standards and the measurand
• Sources of error from design, manufacturing, and measurement
• 3D model based drawing requirements
• 5-step procedure for SmartProfile
• Extensive example projects and exercises
• Design module
• SPC module

Prerequisites & Requirements:

• Advanced applications knowledge of GD&T
• Each student must bring their own laptop to each day of class
